Principal's Message
My name is Sheena Shanks and I am excited to work with the students, teachers, and families of Nolachuckey Elementary School. We have so many exciting things taking place at school this year! Please reach out to me if I can be of any assistance to you or your child. I would like to tell you a little about myself. I have worked in the Greene County School System for the last 17 years. My teaching experience includes teaching kindergarten, 1st grade and 3rd grade at West Pines Elementary and Baileyton Elementary. I was an assistant principal for five years at Doak Elementary School before becoming principal at Nolachuckey in 2022. I attended North Greene High School and East Tennessee State University. I am a wife and a mother to two children. I enjoy spending time with my family, golfing, and being outdoors. I love being at Nolachuckey and am very proud of our school!
