About Me

Hello, I'm Suzanne Shults!  I'm the Reading Specialist, RTI Coordinator, Assessment Coordinator, and Parent Involvement Coordinator at Nolachuckey.  I've been teaching for 23 years and 22 of those have been here at Nolachuckey.  I attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville (GO VOLS!) where I received my Master's degree Education.  After 15 years of teaching 1st grade, I decided to return to school at UT and earned my ED.S in Reading.  I then became the Reading Specialist for Nolachuckey.  I'm dedicated to helping not only our students and teachers, but the parents as well.  

 

I've been married for 23 years to Travis.  We have 2 children.  Jesse is 20 years old and a Junior this year at ETSU.  He is a member of the ETSU Marching BUCS.  Hannah is 11 years old and is in 6th grade at GMS.  I spend most of my free time hauling my kids around to their activities or watching them participate.  I enjoy movies, reading, cats, and the beach!
